How to Apply as a Transfer Student
You’re a transfer student if you’ve taken college-level coursework at a regionally accredited college or university.
Explore our extensive selection of degree and certificate programs to decide the academic path to help you reach your goals. You’ll choose a major on your application. There's no need to worry if you're uncertain about a major. You can select the undecided option and proceed with course registration. Your dedicated academic advisor will serve as your guide, assisting you in course selection as you explore your interests.
Remember that some programs may require an additional application or prerequisite courses before you can enroll.
Create an admissions account to gain access to the SJC application system. You’ll need your name, email, address, and birthdate.
Access your admissions account to complete and submit your application seamlessly. You can save your progress and return at your convenience. There’s no application fee.
At SJC, we operate on a rolling application process without deadlines. The earlier you submit your application, the quicker you'll gain the opportunity to enroll in courses. Your application remains valid for one year from its submission date.
Your application will be processed within one to two business days. However, during periods of high volume, this timeline may be extended by a few days.
